Every State has a Home Page...
If you're reading this, it's most likely that someone shared an
email with you...
... and you're interested in state
based home pages.
WHY DOES EACH STATE HAVE ITS OWN HOME
PAGE?
Fizzlers.com is currently up, running & active in Maryland,
Washington DC and Virginia. When you fist log on to fizzlers, you’ll
see three boxes; one ask for your STATE, the second, your ZIP CODE,
the third, your SEARCH RADIUS.
You give this information just once and fizzlers.com stores a
“cookie” on your computer that remembers your search preferences.
You will never see this screen again unless you want to change your
search parameters, More about that in a minute.
So, once you log in, you’ll see the fizzler home page which list
hundreds of categories of just the things you’re looking for. But
here’s the best thing about the state page; each state’s home page
has its own editor who is responsible for the current goings-on in
your part of the country.
Soon, we will not only have state home pages, but you’ll be able to
have a home page for your town, community, university, college, city
sub-section… even your neighborhood.
What will this mean for you?
It means that you can know of the local fundraising for the
firehouse, which war veterans are returning home to your community
or even the local garage sale down the street. It means that you’ll
know which gasoline station in your area has the best prices. It
means that college and university students can reach only the vendors
and activities of interest to them. It means a database of millions
of goods and services tailored into subsets of information of
specific interest to you
